Our Background

My Story — From the Workshop Floor to Royal Conversion

I was born in London, but I grew up in Italy after my family moved back when I was still an infant. My childhood was not spent playing with toys — it was spent in a workshop, learning engines alongside my father from the age of ten. Grease on my hands, tools on the bench, and mechanical problem-solving became part of who I was long before I understood it.

At sixteen, I began working for Lamborghini in Milan. That experience shaped my standards forever. Precision, quality, and pride in workmanship were not optional — they were expected. A few years later, I opened my first workshop in Milan while continuing my education, qualifying as a Mechanical Industry Technician.

At nineteen, I returned to England and began a new chapter of my life. I worked as a Vespa mechanic in London, but I never stopped learning. In 2013, while running businesses and working on vehicles, I graduated in Law from London Metropolitan University. That legal background still influences how I run my company today — with structure, fairness, and professionalism.

From Ice Cream Man to Ice Cream Van Builder

Before Royal Conversion existed, I was an ice cream man.

While studying law, I started selling ice cream and repairing my own vans. I built my first van in a small shed simply because I wanted a better vehicle for myself. That shed became a workshop. Friends in the same industry started asking for help. Word spread. What started as a necessity became a craft, and that craft became a business.

This is what makes me different from any competitor:

I have lived on the street with these vans.
I know what breaks. I know what slows you down. I know what you wish was built differently when you’re serving in the rain, at events, or on long summer days.

I don’t design vans from a desk. I design them from experience.

The Birth and Growth of Royal Conversion

In 2009, I began building vans seriously. Year after year, quality improved, knowledge expanded, and customer trust grew.

In 2022, I moved to Doncaster and opened a new chapter for the business. What followed was rapid growth under every aspect. Today, Royal Conversion operates across six warehouses with specialised departments and a team of more than 16 skilled people from diverse backgrounds.

We are no longer just converters.
We are builders of specialist vehicles with dedicated departments for fabrication, fibreglass, electrics, refrigeration, bodywork, and custom builds.

What We Stand For

We do not compromise quality to reduce cost. That is a false economy for the customer.

We are built on:
   •    Honesty
   •    Practical experience
   •    Engineering standards
   •    Continuous improvement
   •    Customer support — even for people who are not our customers

Every day, we ask: How can we improve the van? How can we improve the customer’s life?

We constantly study new technologies, new materials, and new methods. Innovation is part of our daily routine, and it shows in our builds.

Where We Are Going

Royal Conversion is now moving into brand-new chassis builds to serve a wider range of customers and applications. Our goal is simple:

To make Royal Conversion a name that stands for quality, reliability, and innovation in specialist vehicles.

Who I Am

I am a hard worker. I am stubborn in the best way possible. I do not stop until something is done properly. And I will not stop until Royal Conversion reaches the very top of this industry.

This is not just my business.
This is my life’s work.
